Is anyone else experiencing biophilia?


This week I am taking a sharp left turn and introducing a term that does not have to do with leadership but still resonates with me this time of year.


Sniff! Ahh, the sweet smell of spring. Flowers and trees in bloom. Thunderstorms start to occur and I can smell the dirt.


The earth is coming alive again.


I am very fortunate to live in a climate where we have a very short winter, but I grew up in the Midwest, where winters were seemingly 9 months long.


I could not wait for these sweet smells!


I did not know until recently that there is a word for it and that humans actually crave nature.


I guess this makes me a proud biophilic. Who's with me?
