Those who know me or have worked with me know how often I say things like "practice the pause", especially when we are trying to solve a problem.
Not only is there significant value in allowing our brains that extra moment to recall past scenarios that may be helpful for the solution but another thing we should take into consideration is if we are understanding the process or problem differently than someone else.
We will never get rid of ambiguity, so by knowing that it exists and that it could be hidden just about anywhere, we can start by clarifying what the problem is.
I cannot even tell you how many times a problem was "solved" just by removing the ambiguity by clarifying a word or policy or process.
Let's spend some time thinking about the obstacles we have in our day and discover if they are obstacles because there is too much ambiguity, then allow ourselves some time and space to clarify the situation. https://expanding-excellence.com/
