Having spend over 30 years in the process improvement field, root cause analysis is my jam - a well oiled machine, but it is not for everyone.  Often, when analyzing a problem we tend to stop at the first symptom instead of the root of the problem.  The next few weeks we will get into some common root causes but in the meantime tap into your inner 3 year old and ask "why".  Are you getting a specific task done daily? Why? Anwer...Why?  Answer...Why?
